NATO Approved Survival Gear

Below you will find survival equipment that is either NATO Approved or NATO Issued, to the best of our knowledge. There are likely many other items in our inventory that are NATO issue that we do not know about.  Also included are items of survial gear that are issued or approved by foreign militaries.

You will also find that there is some crossover between this catagory of NATO/Foreign Approved Survival Equipment and the other Military/Government catagories. This is because once an item is in use by a military or government, others quite often adopt the use of that piece of survival equipment. A prime example is NATO using U.S. Military Approved Survival Gear or the U.S. Military using NATO approved gear.

Please don't be confused by the approval process. Just because a government or military has approved an item, does not mean it is quality. Conversely, because a government has not approved an item does not mean that it is not of high quality. However, we include these military catagories for those who wish to purchase gear in use by the military or government.
